Step 1 Warm up
Greetings

Step 2 Presentation
1. Introduce a new Chinese teacher to the students.
T: We have a new Chinese teacher this year. What does she look like?
S1: I guess she’s tall and has long hair. She has a round face and big eyes.
S2: But I think she’s short. She has short hair and small eyes.
T: She’s not tall. She has short hair. But she is beautiful.
2. Let's learn.
Show the pictures to the class. Let’s learn the new words:
long hair, tall, round face, short, young, old.
3. Language notes.

Step 3 Practice
Work in groups, one student describes his teacher’s appearance, other students guess who is it and pick up the right picture.
